New map released in the update. Anyone have a chance to play it yet? I, for one, am happy to see another stock CTF map.

Played it once yesterday, but it was over really fast. It sounded like a lot of people hated it. I would like to try it again though.

Zoopy

Two things bad about it:

1. It is so big that you don't know where anyone on your team is and it takes a long time to get back to the enemies base. Since there are no CPs you get blindsided every time you pass through the middle because enemies aren't amassed in a given area.
2. The spawn is between the flag and the only exit. Basically if you manage to get the intel you'll have to kill a bunch of people to get in and a bunch of people to get out. This makes it particularly hard since you'd need like 4 people covering each spawn just to get out of the base.

ironically, although some changes where made, its very similar to the original well in tfc and it was hugely popular. I liked the flag room a LOT more in tfc though and a team of engy's could pretty lock it down. If you took the lower route past the spawns, the only way to get to the flag were two elevators across a bridge. (it was on a second floor). There were a few amazing ways to defend it too. You could put a sentry at the top point of the bridge (took some work but it effectively covered every entrance) and as a demo you could pipe bomb yourself to a little ledge right above where you come into the flag room and lock it down with pipe bombs. Ah the good ol days. Plus, there was a water route out of the flag room you could take to bypass the spawns...too bad they didnt add that back.

I played it yesterday and hated it. It's much too difficult to score (especially three times), because the distance between the flag rooms is so great. It's especially bad since there is no sudden death on that map, so it goes on endlessly until an Admin changes the map or one of the teams gets bored and allows the other team to win.

Bommando

We removed it from the rotation, since it was so universally hated. It's just way too big, with intelligence caps being too difficult to begin with and almost impossible to defend once it found its way out of the intel room.

I can't believe people were screaming for this map to be created.
