just did a quick run through of the map. At first, youll prolly say, "wow this is nothing like the original" but after you get used to it, you definitely see the similarities. Looks like a very quality map. The 2nd CP is especially interesting since its on top of a big rock. Only scouts, soldiers, and demos can jump directly on it. The rest have to go up a spiral ramp that wraps around it. The whole map seems like a soldier's playground. Heavies might have a hard time due to snipers, but thats mainly only for the middle point. Spys should feel at home though, and pyros will be excellent for attacking the final point. Although i miss the original, this will do nicely. Kudos Valve.

had my fair share of fun on the map. It has quite a unique design with many ways to reach a point - not being too open and not getting a total chocke point fest

yeh the organization, even at the base level, is very very impressive...
makes wannabe mapmakers jealous imo...i love the layout...
however as you say....this will cater to soldiers and demomen quite a bit...but then again i cant think of a class that will have too much trouble, as heavies will be powerful with all the cover at the center...

theres just so many side areas and routes to each point, which is what i love about it. This gives pyros excellent flanking opportunities.

Good map. I think itll be a bit rough going as a heavy or a sniper though.

I'm not crazy about the exits from the bases. One engineer put up a sentry gun on the second point and it locked down every exit except for one. Since it's on top of a hill, the only way to kill it is to sticky it if an engineer is on it.

At that point, you're at your last CP anyway. In every similar map, you're team is already beaten by that point.

you can go around the right side, come up behind it and rocket his ass off along with the sentry. You might need to get a few people to guard you though. And yea, if you allow a lvl 3 to get built on your second to last point, you pretty much deserve to lose

Leaving your base is so confusing... The map is very convoluted... Overall, it's fun though.
Also, it's a Spy, Sniper, and Pyro's paradise.
